Before moving to industry, I spent several years studying, researching, and teaching mathematics and physics in Canada and abroad. This page collects materials from that time.
Curriculum Vitae
I studied and researched at:
- B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and German — Trinity University (San Antonio, Texas), 2006–2010
- Diplom in Physics — University of Freiburg, Germany, 2010–2012
Thesis: Optimal Control of Many-Body Entanglement with Measures Optimized on the Fly - Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics — University of Calgary, 2012–2017
Thesis: Convex Analysis for Quantum Information Theory
Adviser: Gilad Gour - Postdoctoral Fellow — Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo, 2017–2020
- Sessional Instructor — Faculty of Mathematics, University of Waterloo, 2018–2020
(Also taught one course at the University of Calgary in 2016)

Teaching
I taught undergraduate courses at the University of Waterloo and the University of Calgary, ranging from introductory calculus to upper-level analysis. This section has syllabi, assignments, and lecture notes where I still have them.
Graduate Coursework
Typed lecture notes and homework solutions from my graduate studies at the University of Calgary. Topics include quantum information theory, functional analysis, complex analysis, and algebra.
Publications
A list of my peer-reviewed research publications and preprints, mostly in quantum information theory.
